About the Role

Sydecar is looking for a talented Venture Sales Associate who is passionate about our mission to enable a new generation of venture investors. In this role, you will establish and nurture relationships with deal leads, syndicates, and GPs, and bring critical structure to our sales and partnerships function. You will work closely with Sydecar’s sales and business operations teams to provide a seamless experience for prospects, drive referrals, and track primary sales metrics. You’ll learn the ins and outs of a startup sales organization as well as the emerging venture capital ecosystem. The ideal candidate is ambitious, highly organized, and passionate about our mission. Willingness to dive in is as important as prior sales or industry experience.

Location: New York City or San Francisco Bay Area.

What You'll Do

  • Manage inbound leads and move qualified prospects through the sales pipeline.

  • Identify high-value prospects, build a pipeline, and execute customized outbound sales campaigns.

  • Become an expert on Sydecar’s product offerings to conduct demos and determine the best solution for each individual.

  • Ideate and conduct sales campaigns; A/B test variables to convert new leads and re-engage stale opportunities.

  • Work side-by-side with our marketing team to establish effective, data-driven sales messaging.

  • Manage our CRM, including logging and reporting on sales activities against monthly and quarterly targets.

About You

  • Must Have:

    • 1+ years of experience in a sales role (inbound + outbound), ideally in a startup environment.

    • High energy with stellar verbal and written communication skills.

    • Comfortable organizing, prioritizing, and delivering on multiple projects and deadlines.

    • A team player with a desire to improve our entire sales and go-to-market process outside your day-to-day tasks.

    • Proficiency in CRM tools and reporting.

    • Deep understanding of and passion for early-stage venture capital.

    Nice to Have:

    • Proficiency with sales and marketing automation software (Hubspot, Front, Typeform).

    • Experience working at a financial services or financial technology company.

    • Experience selling in the alternative investments space.
