Should SPV Deal Leads charge management fees?

Deal leads typically don’t charge their investors management fees for SPVs. Since capital is only deployed once, the deal lead is not actively managing funds across a period of time. That said, many of our customers do choose to have a management fee.

You do not need to charge a management fee to cover the Sydecar admin fee, since this fee is passed through to your investors pro-rata through the Sydecar platform. However, some deal leads choose to charge a one-year fee to cover additional expenses.
